About this event
Do YOU wanna be a POPSTAR? 💿 Well this is the album release show for you! ✨ I’m super stoked to celebrate and showcase my new album WANNABE POPSTAR at Spruce Coffee in New Haven alongside some amazing local talent ✨ Come dressed in homage (or full costume!) to your favorite pop star and get ready for a fab evening giving love to the bubblegum pop that you can’t help but love! 💖 THE LOCAL LINEUP: The Other Realm Kierstin Sieser (of The Almighty Yellowstar) Seepie The Elegant Hippo Presents The Other Realm is an emerging, queer-fronted pop artist generating buzz for his introspective, synth-heavy music described as "your inner monologue but make it pop". Known for quirky, observational tracks like "All The Cute Boys Are Robots" and "Quarter Life Crisis," he gained attention for sharp, witty songwriting and independent DIY pop production, featured in LGBTQ music series and playlists. The Other Realm has released three albums of "incredibly enjoyable and honest pop joints" (The Musical Hype) that have been described as "unapologetically witty" (TJPL Magazine).
The Other Realm's anticipated fourth album, Wannabe Popstar, will be released in summer 2026. The Other Realm is based in New Haven, Connecticut.
